Invitations

So since I showed you all what my cupcake stand will look like, I decided to share my invitations. Walmart special! Invitations are very expensive, so I bought some plain DIY invitations, and added some ribbon for some color. Not sure if I will do anymore to them, but for now this is what they look like. Now that I have a cricut, it seems only fitting that it somehow be incorporated into my wedding decor!

Right out of the box-- boorrinnnggg:

And after a little ribbon:

thats all. more to come!

Cupcake Stand

So I wanted to post some pictures - before and after - of the cupcake stand I bought and personalized for our wedding. It was too plain for me, so I thought a little fabric could go a long way. I found the perfect fabric at Hobby Lobby! This was so simple to do, and I think it looks great. Cant wait to see our cake & cupcakes on this stand in only 5 months!!

Pre- Fabric:

So basically I just took each tier off separately in order to glue the fabric down, LOVE love love Elmer's spray on glue!! it made it so easy for me.

After: One view

And just another view for you!

and if you know me at all - you will agree that the before was just to dull, i mean, you can never have too many polka dots, right ;) haha
