well - i've done it. i finally taught myself how to knit. i dont know where this recent urge has come from, but i've always wanted to learn. and i finally have been teaching myself. i bought a book - but youtube videos were much more helpful! i'm excited. i'm not sure that i'll ever make anything really cool - but hey, a few gifts out of the hobby would be nice!!.. if i ever finish any projects i'll show you pictures, for now, i'm in the beginning stages of practicing different stitches and what not.
if you know of any good sites with patterns or something easy for me to start out with - do share :)
